The 2013 Awards Ceremony came to a close when Jo Hale, NALTA President 2010-2012, was presented with a framed picture containing all the verses to “The Star Spangled Banner.” Jo pioneered NALTA, and while she was the first two-term President, she has actually been President a total of 3 times as well as serving on the Board in other positions. Jo has a deep and abiding love of the principals on which NALTA was founded, and while she took the job seriously everyone knows she is the first to tell a joke. Jo loved having the 2012 Conference in Baltimore, the place where the Star Spangled Banner was written, because above all else, Jo is a patriot. With great respect and affection, and the support of Jo’s proud home chapter ALTA Jo was presented with her prize, (and begging forgiveness from Francis Scott Key) as our 2012 conference came to a close we were heard to sing “What so proudly we Hale!”
This award is given to a company who has given support both in employee encouragement as well as monetary donations. This company will have continually encouraged employees to become members of NALTA, attend local meetings, seminars, and national conferences as well as obtaining the status of Certified Professional Lease and Title Analysts. This award will only be given, as the Board of Directors deems appropriate.
